PGA Jr. League at Liberty Hills Golf Course (From Traci Hobson-Liberty Hills)
I wanted to let you know about a new program called PGA Jr League that we're offering summer 2025 for middle and high schoolers. We are encouraging all area incoming golfers to participate and hoping you could share with your students and/or golf coaches. We've made it as affordable as we can including a $50 subsidy per student from our charitable foundation. Please let me know if we can answer any question. Here's the link to more info: https://www.playlibertyhills.com/leagues/pga-jr-league.

RIVERSIDE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS: SHOT FOR THE JACKPOT
**WE HAVE A WINNER**
Tuesday was the final night for the Riverside Athletic Boosters' SHOT FOR THE JACKPOT. Three lucky tickets were pulled for the Jackpot shooting contest. The 3 people that had their tickets drawn were Clint Armbruster, Gregg Jackson, and Dennis Sanford. In the first round, all three had a chance to shoot a half-court shot for the Jackpot. Amazingly, after going the whole season without anyone making a half-court shot, Clint stepped up and sank the shot and Gregg followed by hitting the shot also, with Dennis missing his attempt. Clint then won the Jackpot by sinking his 2nd consecutive half-court shot as Gregg missed his 2nd attempt.
Clint won the Jackpot worth $1419. Thank you to Clint for donating $100 of the Jackpot back to the boosters.
The Boosters would like to thank everyone for their great support of the Shot for the Jackpot throughout the season. After selling a record number of raffle tickets at the game, the total profit for the boosters for the season was $1949. The boosters would also like to thank all of the winners throughout the season that donated their $25 back to the boosters.
Dennis, Clint, and Gregg are shown in the picture.
Stay tuned for a different version of this contest during the fall football season and the Shot for the Jackpot will return for the 2025/26 basketball season.
**You can watch the final Shot for the Jackpot on You Tube; search for Riverside Pirates Athletics; The contest is at halftime of the varsity game video vs. Milton-Union.
GO PIRATES!

Attention: The Girl Scouts meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

**SHOT FOR THE JACKPOT**
The final night for the Shot for the Jackpot is tonight, Tuesday, February 11 when the Pirates take on Milton-Union. The jackpot tonight is worth $1419. One lucky and skilled person will take home the $1419 tonight. Three tickets will be picked tonight and those 3 people will participate in a shooting contest at halftime of the varsity game. The winner of the shooting contest will take home the Jackpot. You can designate someone else to participate in the shooting contest for you.
You can buy your raffle tickets tonight at the game: $1 for 3 tickets; $5 for an arm's length.
All of the profit from the Shot for the Jackpot contest goes to our Riverside Athletic Boosters.

RIVERSIDE ATHLETICS: FEBRUARY 10-15, 2025

Another reminder that tomorrow, February 11, there will be a special presentation between the JV and Varsity basketball games to honor our winter athletes.
Parents and Senior Athletes:
-please be at the school by 6:45
-please be outside the gym doors at the end of the JV 4th quarter to get lined up
- please make sure your senior athlete has filled out their script sent by email for student council to read during the presentation
-This will also be the last game for the Senior Boys Basketball players and Cheerleaders on their home court, so hoping for a large crowd and jock block to make tomorrow night memorable!

Attention Parents: Just FYI, there has been a slight change to our school menu. It has also been uploaded to the school website, if you happen to print this calendar for your refrigerator art. :-)
