Riverside is holding a school spirit contest in honor of Homecoming Week. Show your Pirate Pride by decorating the outside of your house or business. We especially want to encourage residents and businesses along the parade route to participate. The parade route can be found on our Facebook page and our website in the Live Feed section.

The Riverside Athletic Department is making some adjustments to our athletic ticket policy. After receiving input from our community, we are determined to operate an athletic ticketing system that works best for our Riverside school community. Effective immediately, Riverside will be allowing fans to pay for tickets with cash at the ticket gate for all home athletic events. We will continue to operate our digital ticketing system for our fans that prefer to purchase their tickets online. If you purchase your tickets online ahead of time, you will not have to wait in line to buy tickets. Our fans that choose to purchase their tickets online, will be responsible for paying all ticket and credit card fees. The Riverside JV football game at Bethel on Saturday, September 11 has been cancelled due to Bethel not having enough players to play the game.
The start time for the two remaining J.H. football HOME games has been changed to a 6:30 p.m. start.
September 14 vs. Northridge: 6:30 p.m.
October 5 vs. Miami East: 6:30 p.m.

JH Volleyball Rescheduled Games
Wednesday, September 8: 5:00 p.m. at Lehman Catholic (old gym)
Wednesday, September 22: 4:30 p.m. home vs. Miami East
The 7th and 8th grade volleyball games scheduled for tonight at Lehman Catholic have been cancelled.
Also, the 7th and 8th grade volleyball games scheduled for this Thursday, September 9 at home with Miami East have been cancelled.
Both are cancelled due to lack of officials
On Thursday, Riverside Interact Club members were trained to become Sources of Strength Peer Leaders. SOS Peer Leaders impact their world through the power of connection, hope, help and strength.

The Lady Pirates golf team played a tri-match with Indian Lake and Botkins tonight at Cherokee Hills. The Pirates shot a 232, Roz Estep lead the team with a 47, and beat Botkins who shot a 245. The Lady Pirates move to 14 and 16 on the season and remain 3 and 2 in the league.
Join us for the Homecoming Parade on Sept. 15th beginning at 6:30pm. The Community Pep Rally will be at the Veterans' Memorial Stadium immediately following the parade. Go Pirates!

Riverside Boys Golf team went 2-0 this week, defeating Northridge 191-237. Jaxon Woods was medalist with a 43. Tuesday they defeated Covington 173-179. Jayden Burchett was medalist with his personal best round of 39.

The girls golf team played Urbana at Cherokee Hills golf course and won with a season low team score of 210! Roz Estep shot a personal best with a 45 and Mia Stallard shot a season low 48.

Mrs. Fleming was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. All of the proceeds will benefit her upcoming expenses. October 8th football game is a "Pink Out".
